Manildra Group wagon scraping project

Access Recycling has been providing wagon scraping and other recycling services for Manildra Group for more than 15 years. The most recent batch of wagons were processed in Tottenham, NSW. Access Recycling’s rail team was able to negotiate site access issues and work permits from John Holland Rail and shear all of the wagons into small pieces onsite without incident.


Glencore Coal – a long term client of Access Recycling


15 kilometres of rail, stacked for collection by a John Holland train..

Location: Baal Bone Colliery situated 32km north of Lithgow, NSW

Access Recycling was awarded the contract to purchase and remove the Baal Bone Siding from Glencore Coal. The rail was cut in uniform lengths and lifted from the track bed and carried up to 5km into the adjacent rail corridor. The rail was sold to John Holland CRN for re-laying in western NSW branch lines.
