Preliminary works being on South Australian rail recovery

Access Recycling was award a contract by Australian Rail Track Corporation for the collection and removal of 27,000 tonnes of worn railway line. The rails are located over a 520km section of track between Crystal Brook and Tarcoola. Following on from the safe and incident-free removal of 15,000 tonnes of railway line between Crystal Brook and Adelaide in 2019, Access Recycling was the successful bidding on this large and complex project. Preliminary works are now underway, removing rails and scrap metal from track-side areas in the Tarcoola region.
